I spent years managing teams, vendors, and client relationships before moving into construction. I've since completed OSHA 30 and Procore training, and I'm currently enrolled in the construction management certificate program at Florida Atlantic University.
Two Procore Project Manager certifications: Core Tools and Project Management – General Contractor. Applied both through a training project covering RFIs, submittals, change orders, daily logs, and meeting minutes.
Enrolled in Florida Atlantic University's Construction Administration certificate program (CACP). Completed OSHA 30.
8 years as Area Director for Avión Tequila through 2018, managing 6 direct reports and distributor relationships across Texas and Florida. Later moved into technology as a Core Support Technician and was promoted to Core Support Manager within a year.
Field time
I volunteer on residential builds. On an October 2026 build day I did finish work: cut vanities to fit around roughed-in plumbing; installed vanities, a pantry cabinet, kitchen countertops, and hardware; and tore out and reinstalled baseboards a previous crew had mismeasured. I've also joined pre-inspection punch walks with the project manager, documenting deficiencies with photos and notes in the builder's project management software, and identified a roof vent missing a required damper during inspection follow-up.
